The name of this series of lamps is inspired by the “dashed line”—the dotted line that is commonly used in design processes and to indicate cutting and (in this case) folding lines.

NOTE: These are stainless steel lampshades, made of beautiful, untreated stainless steel. Simply polish them with stainless steel polish or something similar. Normally, this is the base material that we then spray-paint on colour , but we thought this series was so beautiful that we left it as stainless steel! Unique lamps at a unique price.

The 21-centimeter version has a base measuring 21 x 21 centimeters and is 14 centimeters tall.

The Dashed Lights were carefully developed by by designer Léon de Lange and crafted with meticulous attention to detail. The lamps are laser-cut from a flat sheet of stainless steel or brass and then folded by hand into a 3D shape. Afterward, the lamps are assembled using pop rivets and coated.

When the light is on, it “leaks” out th by to the dotted lines, creating a unique play of light. The result is a series of lamps with a very refined look.
