The Trestle Table is an elegant, flexible table in which the tabletop and the base are not connected. The base consists of lightweight aluminum legs that— by ’s careful design—are stackable and very stable. The legs support the tabletop, which features a layer of cork to ensure sufficient grip.
NOTE: This is a display model of the Trestle Table, featuring a beautiful solid walnut tabletop and “anodic gold” or “black” coated legs! The tabletop measures 180×90.
The Trestle Table is particularly suitable for use in areas where flexibility is important, such as work environments, but also in a domestic setting. Unlike many other tables with trestles, this design also allows you to sit at the ends, which makes the table suitable as a dining table, for example. The tabletop of the Trestle Table can be fully adapted to the interior.
Explanation of the various options:
– Every table is custom-made, and you can choose from 4 standard colors for the legs and as many as 16 colours Forbo Desktop top layers. This Forbo material is carefully bonded to a plywood top. Would you prefer a different colour leg or, for example, HPL as the top layer? That’s no problem either—just get in touch, and we’ll work together to see what’s possible and what would make a great combination.
– You can now also choose a solid European oak or American walnut tabletop. The tabletops are the same thickness—approximately 26 mm—and feature the same corner and edge finishes. The solid wood tabletops are manufactured in the Netherlands and finished at Vij5 , where they are treated with two coats of Osmo hard wax oil for a perfect finish that is resistant to coffee, red wine, etc.
– In addition to the standard “birch plywood” we use for the tabletops, we now also offer a new “eco-plex.” This is an even more sustainable tabletop, made from wood sourced from ecologically managed forests. PEFC-certified. Furthermore, the tabletop is also slightly lighter, both in weight and in colour, which can be seen on the side of the table.
