by David Derksen ’s “Copper & Brass Lights” demonstrate that folding a thin sheet of copper or brass can result in stable structures. The folding principle defines both the form and the aesthetics of the lamps, creating a delicate yet sophisticated series of lighting fixtures.

NOTE: This is a former display model. It needs a little cleaning, so it’s not listed as “ New,” but it’s still a beautiful lamp at a great price!

Description

All parts are etched. Using this precise technique, the bending lines are etched into the material, after which the parts are folded by hand and assembled in Eindhoven.

by As the surroundings are reflected in the shiny surfaces, each facet takes on its own hue. Copper gives the light a warm glow, while brass produces a slightly more yellow light. The Copper & Brass Lights are available in three different shapes, making them versatile for use in any interior.
