This vertical 3-hook coat rack is ideal for spaces where you don’t have room to hang a longer horizontal coat rack. Plus, it comes with a handy 30x30cm mirror so you can quickly check that your hair looks good before heading out the door! It also pairs very well with, for example, the coat rack with a shelf right next to it or at a different height.
These locally produced coat racks are made using a tube laser to cut hooks out of a square metal tube. This method minimizes waste during production. The cutouts are bent outward to form the coat hooks. The product is then powder-coated.
The " Coatrack by the Meter " was designed by Maarten Baptist. Following the success of thehorizontal version, Maarten decided it was time for a vertical, freestanding coat rack. Based on the same principle, he developed a design language in which coat hooks emerge organically.
These vertical coat racks complement the existing “Coatrack by the Meter’ system, designed by by Maarten Baptist. In addition to the well-known horizontal version, he designed a freestanding coat rack and a vertical wall-mounted version, both of which are also well-suited for smaller (living) spaces.
The “ Coatrack by the Meter ” system is a nod to the Shakers’ wall coat racks, which they installed along the entire length of the wall. The coat racks are available in various lengths that you can connect to each other as you see fit, but they also make a beautiful standalone feature on your wall. These vertical wall coat racks can be connected to the horizontal coat racks using corner and connecting pieces via our online configurator. This allows you to create playful lines on your wall—from left to right, even around corners, and now also from top to bottom. This way, you can make your coat rack and your entryway even more fun and functional.
