Paper Frames | Wall Cabinets from NewspaperWood (set of 2)

These Paper Frames were originally designed by Ontwerpduo for the very first collection of NewspaperWood products (then still called KrantHout!). The collection dates back to 2012 and was successfully presented at the time in Milan, among other places. So they’re true classics that still look great!

They are made from “solid” NewspaperWood —an upcycled material made from newspaper. NewspaperWood It was later separated from Vij5 and has primarily focused on developing the material by for the automotive industry, but only as a 0.6mm-thick veneer—not solid wood as used here.
