The Precious Memories photo frames are not only a feast for the eyes, but also surprisingly practical. Thanks to their clever design with the wooden wedge, they’re easy to use and ideal as interchangeable frames. Want to replace a photo, drawing, or piece of art? It takes just a few seconds to swap out the contents. What’s more, the frames can be used both horizontally and vertically, and you can choose whether to add a (thin) mat. This flexibility makes the photo frame suitable not only for any room but also for any occasion.
Sustainably produced with attention to detail
Every Precious Memories photo frame is crafted with care, using high-quality, sustainable materials. The base is made of solid FSC-certified ash wood, which is produced in Lithuania and then hand-finished in our workshop in Eindhoven with Satin Wood Oil—a colored linseed oil from Denmark. This gives the wood a beautiful, natural look while also protecting it. The wooden wedges, which ensure your photo stays securely in place, are also made in our workshop from FSC-certified pine.
The glass panels are made of float glass, a crystal-clear and flat type of glass produced in Germany by by , a specialist with more than 20 years of experience. The aluminum backing plates are custom laser-cut by by our steel manufacturer in Duizel and then powder-coated in Valkenswaard. Powder coating is a sustainable finishing process that requires no harmful solvents and reuses excess material. This minimizes waste and ensures a strong, wear-resistant coating.

Here's how to use the photo frame:
- Choose the correct dimensions: Make sure your photo, illustration, or artwork is exactly the same size as the glass panel. If the dimensions differ, the wooden wedge won't work properly, and the glass and aluminum backing plate won't fit together neatly.
- Position the block: Place the wooden block with its tallest side facing forward for the best stability.
- Insert your image: Place your photo, illustration, or artwork between the glass panel and the aluminum backing plate.
- Assemble everything: Place this “package” into the slot in the wooden block and slide the wooden wedge so that its straight edge is flush against the aluminum backplate.
- Secure the wedge: Gently slide the wedge down until it is firmly locked in place and the assembly stands on its own.
