The name " Fixum " is Latin for "attached," "fastened," or "secure."

This candle holder , like most of Floris’s “ Design ,” is a product that speaks for itself in terms of visual language and composition. The simple yet perfectly balanced design ensures that any candle remains firmly in place and completes the composition.
Anyone familiar with Floris Hovers ’s style will see that the design of the candle holder stems indirectly from his independent work, in which he focuses on creating unique assemblages and compositions. This candle holder manifests itself, among other things, in the juxtaposition of different materials: colored steel parts are combined with a small pear wood block and a brass propeller. Floris’ distinctive use of color is evident in the series of four colours , in which the “ Fixum ” is available.
