Maarten Baptist
Maarten Baptist (1976) graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2002, majoring in Man & Living.
He develops elegant icons for our daily activities. Often a detail deviates slightly, making his products just that little bit more charming. I try to keep a sense of amazement about the world and I try to translate that amazement into my products. The fresh shapes give each object a kind of timelessness.
Maarten demands a refined finish on his products - produced in a large edition or in a small edition. Something we at Vij5 also find very important!
