The name of this series of lights was inspired by the dashed line. The dashed line that is widely used in design processes and to represent cutting and (in this case) folding lines.

NOTE: These are stainless steel lampshades, of beautiful untreated stainless steel. Just polish with stainless steel polish or something like that. Normally this is the base material after which we paint them in color, but we liked this series so much that we left it stainless steel! Unique lights for a unique price.

The 21cm variant has a bottom surface of 21x21cm and is 14cm high.

The Dashed Lights are carefully developed by designer Léon de Lange and detailed to perfection. The lights are laser cut from a flat stainless steel or brass plate and then hand folded into a 3D shape. Then the lights are assembled with rivets and coated.

When the light is on, the light "leaks" out by the dotted lines creating a special play of light. The result is a series of lamps with a very refined appearance.
