The Strap Stool is a bar stool that consists of a number of oak parts, which fit together seamlessly, and are held firmly together by the two straps.

NOTE: This bar stool version of the Strap Stool is derived from the original, lower Strap Stool stools that are delivered flat-packed. The bar stools were made for a project and are fully glued and screwed for extra strength in addition to the straps. There were 4 extra, which is why we are now offering them here in our webshop.

Yellow or black straps are supplied as an option.

The Strap Stool is designed by bram/stijn Burger and Stijn van der Vleuten under the name bram/stijn. Bram and Stijn work as freelance Designers on various projects ranging from (temporary) interiors to trade fair stands and events. You may also know Bram as one of the founders of the multidisciplinary design studio 'La Bolleur' and Stijn as part of the Dutch art collective 'We Make Carpets'.

With a smart construction in mind, Bram and Stijn developed the 'strap series': a series of stools, benches, tables and cabinets made from a few compartments that can be set up in the blink of an eye. The furniture, partly due to their flexibility which is often desired for temporary events, was designed for Ecco's hotshop and the Modefabriek.
