In late March/early April, we're expecting a little baby in the collection 🙂
As you'll understand, that's why we won't be available for a few weeks. But don't worry, that doesn't mean everything will come to a standstill. On this page we have listed a few things for you, so you know where you stand during our absence:
Will you be completely unreachable?
No, during the first 3 or 4 weeks after the birth, in principle we do not. We realize all too well that this is a very special period in our lives that we will only experience once, and we want to take our time and enjoy it.
However, someone will be in the studio on Monday and Wednesday mornings to handle shipments and check the office@vij5.nl inbox. If you have an urgent question, sending an email is your best option.
Please note: We won’t be reachable by phone.
Can I still place an order in the Vij5 webshop?
Yes, you certainly can!
We’ve made sure to stock up on as many accessories as possible. Every Monday and Wednesday morning, packages with in-stock items will be shipped.
While the delivery time might be a bit longer than usual, your order will still make its way to you as quickly as possible.
During our absence, you’ll get 10% off your order (excluding sale items) with a secret code. Keep an eye on the bar at the bottom of our website for the code 🙂
What if I want to order a product that needs to be custom made?
Even then you can still place your order in the webshop, but you’ll need a bit more patience 😉. Below the buy button of each product, you’ll find an estimated delivery time.
- If we have the parts in stock, we’ll assemble the product once Arjan is back at work and ship it to you—likely sometime in early May, depending on the complexity of the product.
- For custom-made products that require us to order parts from third parties (for example, a custom tabletop), we will not be able to initiate your order until early May. We’ll contact you then to give you an updated delivery timeline—expect around 3 to 5 weeks from early May.
And yes, the 10% discount also applies to made-to-order products during our absence! Keep an eye on the bar at the bottom of our website for the code 🙂
I’m an interior professional and need Vij5 products for a project
- Lloop lamp:
If you need to order a Lloop lamp, we can process and ship it for you during our absence. Simply create a B2B account on our website and place your order in our webshop—you’ll automatically receive our standard project discount. We’ll ensure the lamps go into production and ship them as soon as they’re ready (on Monday or Wednesday mornings).
- Accessories:
Many of our accessories are in stock and can also be ordered via the webshop using your project discount (after creating a B2B account). Check the stock and estimated delivery times below the buy button of each product.
- Other products:
If you need a quote or want to order another product from our collection, we kindly ask for your patience. You can email your request to arjan@vij5.nl, and Arjan will get back to you in early May.
I am a retailer and want to order products for my store
If you’re looking to order in-stock accessories, please email your order to office@vij5.nl. Someone will be available on Monday and Wednesday mornings to process shipments. Stock levels and delivery times are indicated below each product in the webshop.
Arjan will handle the invoicing for your order in early May.
I see you’re still active on social media, but aren’t you out of office?
Good observation! The posts you’ll see on our socials were scheduled in advance. So yes, we’ll still be visible, but we won’t be actively online.
Tip: Please avoid sending DMs or personal messages, as we might not see them. Instead, email us at office@vij5.nl —there’s a chance your question can still be answered, and if not, we’ll get back to you in early May!

Sorry about that! If you haven’t heard back, it probably means your question requires our (Arjan & Anieke’s) direct attention.<br><br>Rest assured—we’re not some distant overseas company; we’re a homegrown Dutch business that’s just temporarily less available. We’ll gladly respond in early May!
Something went wrong with the delivery of my package
We get it—this can be frustrating. Here’s what to do:
- Did we make a mistake or did something arrive broken? Please email us at vij5 and we can fix the mistake as soon as possible. Please note, it may take some time before you get an answer, as someone is only available on Monday and Wednesday mornings. And if it doesn't work out on short notice, we'll be sure to fix it when we get back! Always works out.
- Did something go wrong with the shipping company? Then there is usually not much we can do about it ourselves. Please do notify us at vij5 so we can check the track&trace to see if more information is available. Please note, it may take some time before you get an answer, because someone is only available on Monday and Wednesday mornings.
Can I still place a Linolie order?
Yes, absolutely! Orders placed via linolie.nl will be processed and shipped every Monday and Wednesday morning.
I have a question about Linolie or need advice, but you are not available by phone?
Yes, we are not available for advice at the moment. Please read the product manuals carefully by or watch the instructional videos. Both are shared on the website of www.linolie.nl. Often, many of your questions have already been answered. For more specific questions, we will be available again from the beginning of May.
Can I pick up a product or order at your Eindhoven studio?
Unfortunately, not at the moment. But starting early May, you’ll be able to again! We’ll also reactivate the ‘pick up in Vij5 showroom’ option in our webshop then.
I would like to visit your showroom in Eindhoven, is that possible?
Not just yet—but from early May onwards, we’d love to welcome you again! You can make an appointment via phone or email once we’re back.
