'From our studio & showroom in Eindhoven, we fulfill a connecting role between designers, makers and buyers. In doing so, we always go through 5 important steps.

Collecting is the second step in our process: in our role as curators, we decide whether something will or will not be included in the Vij5 collection. This decision is very personal to us. We only include products in the collection that make our hearts beat faster. In this episode, we explain the intention with which we make our choices.

We want to have a good 'click' with both the designer ánd the product. Many of the collaborations under our brand start as friendships. It's especially fun to work together! During the process, things may go wrong at times, and then we need to be able to come up with solutions together.

We can be just as excited (or sometimes even more excited) about a product from someone else as when it comes from our own hands. The Vij5 collection reflects our personal taste in design. We love pure, sustainable, and honest materials. A clear line and attention to detail are what characterize our products.'
