From 8-10 February, Vij5 could be seen during one of the most beautiful (at least, we think so) DESIGN events in the Netherlands: OBJECT Rotterdam! A must-see for collectors, professionals and other DESIGN enthusiasts.
Vij5 was located on the first floor of the beautiful HAKA building: a completely stripped architectural monument dating from the 1930s. The building turned out to be the ideal setting for our collection!
During OBJECT Rotterdam, Vij5 launched no fewer than 3 New products in the collection!
The brand new BL28 LED by David Derksen is the new version in the Copper & Brass Lights series. Updated to today with better light quality, sleeker design & LED fixture.
The Tilt Bar Stool by Floris Hovers is also new to the collection and is available in various colors which were shown for the first time during OBJECT.
The Glint Light by Susanne de Graef will be officially launched soon, but the prototypes of the wall version in 'warm-black' and the hanging version in 'champagne' were already on display in this beautiful setting.
OBJECT Rotterdam
OBJECT Rotterdam is the platform for the latest limited editions and one-offs from well-known and emerging designers and is located on the border between design, craft, fashion, architecture and art. It is a curated event, which means that designers have been carefully selected to maintain the right balance between well-known names and upcoming talents, different design disciplines and materials, applied design and more autonomous installations. This year the fair was even bigger and better with work from more than 150 designers and more than 6,000 square meters full of inspiration.
