From 8-10 February, Vij5 was on display during one of the most beautiful (at least, we think) design events in the Netherlands: OBJECT Rotterdam! A must-see for collectors, professionals and other design lovers.
Vij5 could be found on the first floor of the beautiful HAKA building: a completely stripped architectural monument dating back to the 1930s. The building turned out to be the ideal backdrop for our collection!
During OBJECT Rotterdam, Vij5 launched no less than 3 new products in the collection!
The brand new BL28 LED by David Derksen is the new version in the Copper & Brass Lights series. Updated to today with better lighting quality, tighter design & LED fixture.
The Tilt Bar Stool by Floris Hovers is also new in the collection and is available in different colours which were shown for the first time during OBJECT.
The Glint Light by Susanne de Graef will soon be officially launched, but the prototypes of the wall-version in 'warm-black' and the hang-version in 'champagne' could already be seen in this beautiful setting.
OBJECT Rotterdam
OBJECT Rotterdam is the platform for the latest limited editions and one-offs from well-known and upcoming designers and is situated on the border between design, craft, fashion, architecture and art. It is a curated event which means that designers are carefully selected to keep the right balance between well-known names and upcoming talents, different design disciplines and materials, applied design and more autonomous installations. This year the fair was even bigger and better with work from more than 150 designers and over 6,000 square meters full of inspiration.
