From February 8–10, “ Vij5 ” was on display at one of the most beautiful (at least, in our opinion) design events in the Netherlands:OBJECT Rotterdam! A must-see for collectors, professionals, and other design enthusiasts.
Vij5 was located on the first floor of the beautiful HAKA building: a completely gutted architectural landmark dating from the 1930s. The building turned out to be the ideal setting for our collection!
During OBJECT Rotterdam,Vij5 launched no fewer than 3 new products in its collection!
The brand-newBL28 LEDby David Derksen is the latest addition to theCopper & Brass Lightsseries. Updated for today’s market with improved light quality, a sleeker design, and an LED fixture.
The Tilt Bar Stool by Floris Hovers New is also part of the collection and is available in various colours , which were first shown at OBJECT.
The Glint Light by Susanne de Graefwill be officially launched soon, but the prototypes of the wall-mounted version in “warm black” and the pendant version in “champagne” were already on display in this beautiful setting.
OBJECT Rotterdam
OBJECT Rotterdam is the premier platform for the latest limited editions and one-offs by established and emerging Designers , straddling the boundaries between design, craftsmanship, fashion, architecture, and art. It is a curated event, which means that Designers have been carefully selected to maintain the right balance between established names and emerging talents, various design disciplines and materials, applied design, and more autonomous installations. This year, the fair was even bigger and better, featuring work by more than 150 Designers and over 6,000 square meters of inspiration.
