The lamp gets its name from the subtle reference to an archetypal lampshade (visible as a silhouette at the head of the lamp) combined with the extended length of the available models.
The three available lengths allow for the creation of a sleek businesslike, as well as a more casual and playful composition. The long variants are additionally capable of switching between brighter office light and/or dimmed ambient light.
