Fixum is a quirky candle holder which adapts to different thicknesses of candles. The simple but extremely balanced construction ensures that any candle will stand firmly and complete the composition.
The name Fixum is Latin for attached/fixed/fixed.
Note: The Fixum candle holder is made in limited series. For each series we choose a new color combination together with Floris. Previous editions are therefore unfortunately no longer available. Here you can order the color combinations that are currently available.
The candle holder is available separately or with a set of rapeseed wax candles, which can also be ordered separately.
Like most Floris designs, this candlestick is a product that explains itself well in visual language and structure. The simple but extremely well-balanced construction ensures that any candle remains firm and completes the composition.
Anyone who recognises Floris Hovers’ handwriting will notice that the design of the candle holder indirectly derives from his free work, focusing on making unique assemblies and compositions. With the candle holder, this is expressed in the combination of different materials: coloured steel parts are combined with a pearwood block and a brass butterfly screw. Floris' distinctive use of colours is reflected in a series of three colours in which the Fixum is available.
