From June 5-7, Vij5 was present again during Design District in the Van Nelle Fabriek in Rotterdam. Like previous years, we showed a number of previews of New products with work by, among others, Max Lipsey, Studio Thier & van Daalen and Floris Hovers!
Design District is an event for interior architects, architects, designers, project designers, stylists, retailers and other interior professionals. At Design District you will find over 200 top brands showing their latest and greatest products. From young designers and emerging labels to established international brands. The range on the exhibition floor is varied and balanced; You will find furniture, lighting, sanitary ware, tiles, floors, fabrics and other materials. The stands are small, only the newest is shown. This makes it a well-organized event where you can get completely up to date in the field of interior design within one day!
This year Design District once again took place in the Van Nelle Fabriek in Rotterdam. The Van Nelle Fabriek was once the most modern factory in the Netherlands. The first daylight factory in Europe, designed to give energy. The building was renovated in 2002 and is therefore sustainable down to the last detail. Since 2014, the national monument in Rotterdam has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Vij5 stand was again located between the characteristic blue racks of the 'Distribution Center' of the Van Nelle Fabriek this year.
