From June 5-7, Vij5 was again present during Design District at the Van Nelle Fabriek in Rotterdam. Also this year we showed a number of previews of new products with work by Max Lipsey, Studio Thier & van Daalen and Floris Hovers among others!
Design District is an event for interior designers, architects, designers, project decorators, stylists, retailers and other interior design professionals. At Design District you will find over 200 top brands showing their latest and greatest products. From young designers and starting labels to the established international brands. The offer on the exhibition floor is varied and balanced; You will find furniture, lighting, sanitary ware, tiles, flooring, fabrics and other materials, among others. The stands are small; only the latest is shown. This makes it a well-organized event where you will be completely up to date on interior design within one day!
This year, Design District once again took place at the Van Nelle Factory in Rotterdam. The Van Nelle Factory was once the most modern factory in the Netherlands. The first daylight factory in Europe, designed to give energy. The building was renovated in 2002, making it sustainable in every detail. Since 2014, the national monument in Rotterdam has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This year's Vij5 booth was again located among the characteristic blue racks of the Van Nelle Factory's "Distribution Center.
