Jeroen Wand

Studio Jeroen Wand explores the raw, unpolished side of design, developing objects, products, installations and environments that encourage finding alternative forms of what is beautiful or pleasant. After all, the real pleasantness is not to be found in the standard, but in the things that go just a little outside that standard.

By flipping, changing or adapting traditional combinations of material and technique, unconventional production processes such as paper lamination and plaster rotational molding are created. Studio Jeroen Wand 's products and objects are the results of experimentation in and research into these unique processes in which the production method determines form and function.

Jeroen Wand (1985) studied product design at the Maastricht Academy of Art and Design (MAFAD). In 2008, he received his master's degree from the Sandberg Institute in Amsterdam.
