About Jenna

Jenna grew up on the outskirts of a tiny village in Friesland, the Netherlands. As a little girl, she already built furniture for her dolls to make them feel at home.

Even now, she likes to make functional furniture with surprising details, in which atmosphere and structure play a major role. She started a studio for interior and product design in 2010, after graduating from the Minerva Art Academy in Groningen (NL). Commissioned by retail companies and private clients, Jenna designs custom-made furniture and interiors.

In a narrative way, she translates her imagination, her amazement at the seemingly mundane, and a fascination for patterns into user-friendly and aesthetic concepts. Material, colour, and shape create a warm and natural atmosphere.
