Daphna Laurens
Designstudio Daphna Laurens was founded in Eindhoven in 2008 by Daphna Isaacs (1982) and Laurens Manders (1984), who both graduated from the Design Academy in Eindhoven in 2006 and 2008.
The studio's stylistic research focuses on experimenting, both when searching for new forms and when using materials, with the aim of transforming everyday products into objects with their own identity. The artifacts made by Daphna Laurens appear to be hybrids and present themselves as versatile solutions that combine functionality and expressiveness.
