Thier & van Daalen
Studio Thier&vanDaalen was founded by , Iris van Daalen (’85), and Ruben Thier (’87). After graduating from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2010, they launched their own design studio in Eindhoven in the summer of 2011.
In their work Share , they express a fascination with light, reflections, and the transience of nature, with geometric and organic forms playing a key role. They see it as a challenge to grasp these phenomena, abstract them, and Translate them into new Design for Lighting, Furniture, Accessories , and unique objects. by Through extensive research and experimentation with various materials, new Design are created hands-on. by By combining diverse techniques, they discover and harness the full potential where innovation and elegance converge.
Ruben and Iris' fascinations and curiosity can be traced back to their motto of not taking the world for granted. By consciously dealing with materials, their environment and origin, they create designs that you can cherish for a long time.
