Michael Funch
Michael Funch (1990) graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in December 2014 in the department 'Man and Activity'. We have known Michael since his studies as he worked as an intern for Vij5 . His Design is simple and honest, inspired by raw materials and the making process. His concepts range from new ways of connecting people with materials to linking products to a specific lifestyle.
Immediately after graduating, his graduation projects were both nominated for awards: the International Glass Prize 2015 - Lommel (BE) and the Bolia Design Awards 2015 (DK).
The Moonrise Mirror project originated during his internship and was further developed into a marketable product after his graduation.
