About Charles

Charles O. Job is originally from Lagos, Nigeria, and obtained his degree in architecture and a master's in urban planning in England at Oxford Brookes University. He then worked in Paris, London and finally in Zurich, where he still lives and works. In addition to his own Design studio, he also teaches architectural Design theory at the Univeristy of Applied Sciences in Bern, Switzerland.

In his Design studio, Charles is involved in research, temporary architecture and Furniture Design for international customers. A constant search for simplicity is a common thread throughout his work. His Designs are minimalist, inventive, accessible and easy to understand because of their simple playful logic.

Charles has served on many international Design juries and won numerous international Design awards. He also has a chair in the permanent collection of the Vitra Design Museum.
