About Atelier LVDW

Atelier LVDW is Laura van de Wijdeven’s design studio. The studio is based in Rotterdam, where Laura graduated from the Willem de Kooning Academy in 2016 with a degree in Lifestyle Design. Through her studio, she researches and designs new materials using organic waste streams and bio-based materials. These sustainable or circular materials are transformed into various interior design products. Atelier LVDW draws inspiration fr by —the calming effect of nature on human well-being. This is reflected in colour, structure, and material choices that together evoke a sense of serenity. Maintaining a connection with nature through the materials in your interior is the underlying mission of her work.
