About Atelier LVDW

Atelier LVDW is the design studio of Laura van de Wijdeven. The studio is based in Rotterdam, where Laura graduated from the Willem de Kooning Academy in 2016 in Lifestyle Design. With her studio, she researches and designs new materials from organic waste streams and biobased materials. These sustainable or circular materials are translated into different interior products. Atelier LVDW is inspired by by the calming effect of nature on human well-being. This is expressed in color, structure and material choices that together lead to serenity. Maintaining a connection with nature through the materials in your interior is the underlying mission of her work.
