The 'Sandpaper Tray' is produced by a combination of dedicated handwork and an industrial finishing process. First, the aluminium is sanded by hand into planes. Because each plane has its own direction and the planes overlap in places, a balanced graphic pattern is created. After sanding, the tray is forced into its final shape and anodized for a strong colored top layer.
